Many martial artists who train in other 'traditional' arts sustain many injuries to the knees, spine, elbows and other joints through the stressful and unnatural lockout movements that are repeated over and over in training. Choi Kwang Do movements are natural and don't use the type of movements that damage joints and muscles.
Many traditional movements are difficult to learn and unrealistic in actual self defence , even though they may look impressive. Choi kwang Do movements are easy to learn and are very effective in practice. From the very first lesson, you will see that the movements simply "make sense".
